Auto Pause
Learn more about auto pause.
Set your activities to automatically pause when no movement is detected for a specific duration. Recording continues immediately when movement is detected again. This feature helps ensure accurate tracking of runtime during challenges and activities.
This is turned Off by default, to adjust auto-pause settings:
- Go to Settings located in the upper-left hand corner of your profile page.
- Select Auto Pause.
- Choose your desired option and confirm your selection.
Options for Auto Pause:
- Off: Disable auto pause entirely.
- Time Intervals: The duration of time when no movement is detected before auto-pause is automatically started.
- 5 seconds
- 15 seconds
- 30 seconds
- 60 seconds
- 90 seconds
- 120 seconds
Pro Tip!: Auto-pausing can help avoid recording idle time, ensuring your activity stats reflect only active movement. By fine-tuning Auto Pause, you can make sure your Scaletra experience aligns perfectly with how you run your RC adventures!
- Prevent Unnecessary Pauses
If you frequently stop for short breaks (e.g., adjusting your RC vehicle, taking photos), setting a longer pause delay (60–120 seconds) prevents unwanted auto-pauses.
- Improve Accuracy for Slow Movement
If you move at a slow pace (e.g., rock crawling with an RC vehicle), a shorter auto-pause delay (5–30 seconds) ensures minimal downtime in tracking.
